12-14 events a year means PBC needs to show and prove. It's not a significant enough amount of events. Amazon won't allow what happened with Showtime to happen with them. I'm all for quality fights and cards on every event. All boxing cards should be competitive and entertaining with as few mismatches as possible.

At what point do you hang up that corporate PBC slave jersey and put that shyt in the rafters. ITS OVER.. they didn't do good enough to stay afloat on yet another network... Hopefully they can pick up the peices and join TR at ESPN so we can get fights that don't take 3-5 yrs to make

I dunno how this happens. The ESPN-PBC relationship is beyond sour.

Nice, wonder how many years it's for. Maybe I'm reading too much into the verbiage but I hope 12-14 boxing "events" strictly means cards and none of those dates get allocated to side programming.

Amazon has so many subscribers, this is definitely a big deal for PBC. 12-14 cards isn't a lot, but I did hear talks that PBC has something lined up elsewhere (Netflix) so we'll see what happens at the end of the year

Netflix isn't happening at this point. I see PBC leveraging Pro Box and OTX maybe (I know Truck Simpson fought on there but not sure if he is considered PBC or just 'signed' to GTD).

This is where I think they fukked up last time. They were stretched too thin across too many networks. Everything should be allocated to one network.

I mean what does the PBC roster even look like now? In terms of the top stars people want to see?

12-14 cards is about 1 a month and dudes who are stars fight 2 times a year. If we use the Canelo/Bud vs Spence cards as example PBC can probably do those 4-7 times a year where it comes off as loaded paired with non televised cards.

I'd be interest to know if the Amazon deal limits YouTube for example too. I'd collect a bag from YouTube to air low cost prospect cards

That's actually a good question. Who is PBC and who isn't?

Did Crawford actually put something on paper saying he's PBC or was that just for the Spence fight?

Crawford did a Canelo type deal which is x amount of fights. I`m not sure if PBC does # of Fight Deals + # of Year deals OR dudes sign for #'s of fights but just continue to re-sign out of loyalty and this is why we call them "PBC fights".

For example we know Shakur is on the last year of his TR deal, we knew when Bud's deal ended and he resigned with TR, we always know about Canelos deals but the "pbc loyal" cats like say Spence, Benevidez, Plant, etc. I've never heard anything about their deals.

I know Tank and Errol do the Co Promotion thing and Al Works as an 'advisor' even if we 'see them as PBC fighters'. Then you look at Boots, Boots was signed to Showtime it seems not PBC,
