Here's thing a lot of yall don't want to hear after 2 failed preminum channels , and multiple failed network channels... boxing doesn't make money, boxers make too much.

I think the last thing boxing needs is another wall keeping it isolated from other sports and preventing the casual watcher from being able to access it, people have been talking for 10+ years about growing the sport but now this is a pivotal chance to do that, and yet they are considering DAZN...shyt makes no sense
The issue is that growing the sport is gonna benefit the people coming up NEXT, but the sacrifice will be made by the fighters and promoters of today.

Correct, like many other sports, although boxing is a different animal. Boxers often become promoters or trainers themselves when retired, closing the door on growing the sport and expanding the ceiling of future profits will still affect their pockets either way.

My point was the correlation of people exiting boxing isnt cause of the matchmaking, these are two diff convos. Im not trying toninvalidate your feelings im more so saying it is irrelevant to this specific situation. HBO gave classics and still chunked the dueces. My point is dudes are talking like TR is safe or something when Disney is in shambles right now. We may he revisiting this convo once TRs contract is up for renewal

I stopped watching cause of matchmaking. I remember bozos like Thurman and Danny garcia walking around not fighting shyt. Was infuriating discussing like 6 match ups for each one and we knew they'd never happen.
