Because stock holders get concerned during times of uncertainty. Also, I'm pretty sure both that stock and the WWE stock were rising recently on the speculation so there's always gonna be a buy the rumor, sell the news situation.

The new ticker is gonna be "TKO". If you feel the newly formed company is gonna kill it with the revenue (which they likely will) you can always buy some Endeavor options or the stock outright and wait for it to pay off later this year. I'd expect both brands to do well at least in the short term.
