No offense to the contributors. The young god is asking for advice getting his first job. Any job will do because he has no work experience.

A) Have an ID & birth certificate

B) Act like you need the job like you need air to breathe. Take it seriously, show up half hour early, shake hands and introduce yourself to a manager. People don't want to train people because people don't make long term commitments to jobs. Show them you have a plan and explain to them how the job fits into the plan. Write a letter of intent. I write one for every job I apply for and it explains my two year plan and how the job is a part of it.

C) Be patient.

D) Be humble. Be humble. Be humble. Work is work G and there's a lot of money in jobs people don't want to do.

E) Be willing to close, work weekends, and cross train. Focus on being someone's boss because management experience opens up high paying jobs for you.

F) Kitchens always need dishwashers my G. Entry level construction jobs. Union jobs. As a dishwasher I could make 1400 a week excluding tips. Next time you see a dishwasher don't hate on that person because they could be making 1 rack a week easy.

Find a family member with a different last name than you and butter their asses up to tell an elaborate lie on your behalf lol. Thats what I did. Had a bunch of aunties, called each one and told them what I was tryna do and if they could tell a lie for me and say I worked as their employee and say how amazing I was. They all agreed and I got a little seasonal position at Kohls from it.

Stop making these threads (no offense OP, salute young bro moving it forward) without detail in what you are specifically looking to do!

And don't finance a car at your age, save your bread up and buy the car with cash, saving up let's say 10-20K at your age at home is easy as hell without any other form of debt or stupid financial decisions.

Do exactly what @Willie is saying. Your best bet is to show at your young age that you are serious and are ready to handle your business. If you have a friend who attends college and you don't, use their school log in to find places to apply for, you can bullshyt them and say you are working on your degree while you really aren't. When applying - apple for the job AND, figure out whose the hiring manager for the specific entry level jobs and begin to email the head of HR or whomever manages for HR. It shows you are serious - direct. Do not overly apply like saying you know Java but don't, Be honest in what you know and don't know. Learn basic skills with computers like Word, Powerpoint, especially excel.

Stack up your money, do not get comfortable or complacent at the job. Begin to see how you can improve your job flow, what other specific skills you'll like to learn for higher income employment. Consistently work and never take your foot off the gas. You are at the perfect time to build discipline with work and not make the mistake many of your peers make which is not working/only attending college with zero in their pockets at 22-25. Be the kid whose made 200-500K by the time you are 22-23. I suggest you find a good office job now, in 6 months to a year - begin to apply to new positions with a higher pay and continue that cycle with each job you execute and perfect. Never get comfortable, always have a new challenge at hand.

Good luck, if you ever need more advice inbox me :salute:

Get an older male you know say you used to help him do landscaping, handywork building decks or laying hardwood floor

-After you apply for the job call em up and ask for HR or the manager and ask about application status.

As the title implies I'm tryna get my first job. Actually I been tryna get my first job since I was 15 but because I have no prior experience employers don't fukk with me and I don't got friends or family to put me on with something:sadcam:

I don't want y'all to think I'm lazy, I filled out hella applications and in a span of 3 years I've only got like 5 interviews that didn't lead to employment. Everyone else around me can get jobs like nothing but, when I try my hardest to get a job I get nothing, shyt is aggravating and kinda stressful:sadbron:

I ain't even asking to be a CEO or nothing like that, just something that can finance a car and an apartment.

Long story short I'm bouta be 19 soon and the longer I'm unemployed the worse it makes me look so, coli brehs what can I do to get employed??

LEARN A TRADE!!!!!

A lot of people already mentioned learning a trade. You're blessed to have age on your side. Trades offer shyt / decent money at first but once you have experience and accreditation I guarantee you'll be making more money than a lot of people in your age range.

I didn't have a "real job" till I was 20 :mjlol:

Just go to a staffing agency. They don't care about experience and you can use your experience there to build a resume later on :yeshrug:

The career I want is a bit far fetched but still possible anyways I want to grow cannabis for the dispensaries all I really need is money for the license and supplies and some space and I'm fine and also I stay off social media so employers won't find shyt :russ:

In other words you want to be a supplier.

You can focus on learning the operational aspect or the sales or even both

Start checking the laws in your state and send emails to employers
Ask for a trial period and learn about as much weed as possible. The science of it.

Walk into your chamber of commerce and ask questions and get free advice. Problem is people there want to help because they r bored but no one calls them lol
