"Is that the jig"
Em was spittin...I fukks with it...maybe a more sinister beat would have made it more in line with the OG MMLP. Actually I think if he used the track 13 girl on the hook with a darker beat yall would love it more...
I don't see the problem with it. It's a track for Top 40 Radio. I mean it is a Rihanna feature after all. I knew the same people on The Coli would dislike it like before. My personal opinion is that I like it as a Top 40 track. At the end of the day, our opinions aren't the ones that matter though, it's the masses. If I remember right, "Lighters," and "I Need A Doctor" weren't liked that much on the message boards, but both were double platinum Top 5 hits. So, it can be argued those of us complaining don't see the big picture, and don't know what it takes to make a hit song. When it's all said and done, I think it can be argued this is a good crossover track. Nothing more, nothing less.
Jimmy probably forces Em to make these type of records"lets take it back to straight hip hop"
3:33 to 3:50. That breakdown with Em doing the background vocals.. Catchy. Hate on The Monster all you want, but it's definitely a catchy song.
