What makes wealthy successful artists go this route? Same with Jay and his Timberlake filth... Is the success just that addictive that you become afraid to take any artistic risks? Is the goal to just make as much bread as you can and not leave anything on the table?

I dont get it.. Say what you want about Kanye but he'll put out some trash in an attempt to make something thats not formulaic..

because people like you crying about what they want from eminem on a message board make up maybe 1% of the consumers who actually purchase the product. You have to wait til the album to get songs that you are looking for, if they are even on there, but for the most part this is what the general market listens for when they want to hear eminem now.
