True, it is. All I'm saying is old school Em woulda fired back. Maybe he should give him the Cage treatment and only send him a couple lines.

Lol he already sent a couple lines and got a full song back, too late for that shyt.

And I didn't hear anything in the interview that indicates that he's not going to respond, just that making 4 or 5 different responses is less practical than addressing everyone who chimes in all at once.

Oh i get it...but when i said “majority” I’m talking about the folks on the Internet that speak like they the “majority” but reality says differently.
There's certianly a loud and populated base on social media (and needless to say on here) that has been trying like hell to get him out of here for the past few years now but numbers don't lie. :pachaha: It's why all the "irrelevant" talk sounds so stupid so now they're going with "LOL imagine still listening to Eminem in 2018" jokes and stuff. Hell, even these media outlets that clearly don't like him are reaching...I think it was Esquire or Forbes or Pitchfork that titled the article about Em selling 450k in his first week as "hate streams get Eminem to #1" :skip:

That's another reason Em should be content. In this age of society where social media is trying to get everyone who was controversial in the past out of here, Em is still going strong and I think it drives them...berzerk. LOL

Mosh was a far better song than Untouchable, everything about it seemed forced. Mosh sounded alot more relaxed and genuine. same with We As Americans. i know he can do alot better than Untouchable. he needs to approach that topic again but make it seem like he means it.

Mosh is dope af to me, a similar song with a similar video treatment and he could have touched on that topic without any kind of backlash.

It's true,

Who else is pushing wordsmiths and battle rap etc forward more than em?

Notice how Joe switched sides, he never talks about the Royce , Lupe , pusha , Joyner etc tapes on the podcast.

And now he on this content is greater than rhyming, flow, bending words, lyrical ish .

Joe is trying to sabotage where he from because nobody paid him no mind .Trying to take his ball and go home.

I've listen to 90% + of his podcast never has he ever talked about music with actual content Minus hov and drake.

And for the record he claims he never heard revival, and that was another tatic to not talk about it on the podcast.

Joe is salty af

Em stans really think Budden can't diss the shyt out of Em :dead:

Say what you want about Budden but diss tracks aren't what he's lacking in.

MGK already got Em shook...Budden would put him back on the pills

Idk breh, em has twisted thoughts already. Mix that with someone going at his 15 year old daughter

:hubie:

I took him taking those deep breaths and cutting sentences short as him practicing whatever he learned in AA /therapy etc vs a tough guy front.

Those shut the fukk ups were on some school shooter status shut the fukk ups lol

The way Em said without a Relapse their would be no Recovery like Recovery was a great album is cringe. Recovery was the start of the pink, Rihanna and skylar grey collabs. The ending of rhyming whole bars and relying on punchlines and double time flow
:snoop:
Recovery a good album. Him and Rihanna a good combo too. From a pure business sense everything they dropped together = $. They did a three city, six date tour and made bank off the strength of two songs together.

I think he lauds Recovery so much cuz from a business standpoint, that album not only really put him back on the radar of the general audiences but it also put him on with a whole new generation. He felt he was falling behind in relevancy and losing touch with the times when he came back during the Relapse era, but Recovery is what put him back in the ballpark with the hot acts at the time like Wayne, Kanye, and Drake.

Again from a business standpoint, they knocked it out the park with Recovery. But you are right in that the downside to it is it made he and his camp too reliant on features and him trying to re-create that style on future projects. After the success of Recovery is where I think he started letting business motives influence TOO much of his future albums. Like even with Revival he said his goal was to put out something for everyone (his diehard stans, his young fans who like the singing hooks, his soccer mom fans who like the radio chasing singles, etc) whereas in the past he always had a business approach to some songs on his albums but he didn’t let it dictate the whole thing.

That’s what I like about Kamikaze. Like he tweeted, he didn’t overthink it. He just made some rap songs, dropped it without promo, and let it be. I hope he does it this way more often. To me it would help him stay true to himself instead of trying to please every facet of fans that he has.

But how is EM taking an L by not responding to MGK? He explains it in detail on The Ringer. Then once again, what does EM gain by responding to MGK? The answer is nothing. He already knows the he’s a much better MC than MGK so there is no excitement or energy that would make him respond to MGK other than to do it to shut people up which would still make people unsatisfied because we will say that is what he’s supposed to do.

Then he shouldn't have mentioned MGK at all if he wasn't gonna see it through. Don't pop shyt unless you gonna be about shyt. This is Em, not some new jack, he knows how battles and beef go.
