Em stans really think Budden can't diss the shyt out of Em :dead:

Say what you want about Budden but diss tracks aren't what he's lacking in.

MGK already got Em shook...Budden would put him back on the pills

that song could've been executed alot better, not sure who told him that was good. The content is the only good thing about it.

I like the hook, but it sounds like he recorded this with the intention of it being a rock song and not a hip hop song. I don't know who this is supposed to appeal to or who is supposed to get the message.

This guy's shouting like an idiot over loud guitars and Cheech and Chong samples. :russ:

But I don't think him making an attempt to speak on police brutality was for a come up. And I also saw cats on here who don't even like or listen to Em making bets that he WOULDN'T address the current events surrounding race because he's a cac this that and the other. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. fukk "woke" Eminem trying to make 'content', we want a diss album!
I don't agree with all your takes on Em but you nailed this one.

If Em didn't address anything people would have bytched at him for not saying anything and trotted out piece after piece about him being a vulture and not speaking up for the culture he profited off of.

That's why I don't take a lot of the Em criticism seriously. After awhile, it just becomes obvious there's a bias in it and people simply just don't like a person so they gonna find anything to critique.

the second part of the song is better than the first part. the hook was very cringeworthy. it was a touchy subject, but he should've pulled it off a lot better.

Or how about this.

Let Royce speak for the black man in the song. White folks, even well meaning white folks are so disconnected from the receiving end of racism that even when they try to be helpful and speak up, it's going to be very likely that there will be a misstep because even if they have empathy they lack proper perspective. I think even bi-racial people deal with this too because the experience is just different.

I thought the first half of the song was alright for creating a chaotic atmosphere for an abusive cop. The 2nd half of the song, if it had to be in character shouldn't have been done by a white man. For the sake of the people who he was trying to get the message across to and himself to avoid trying to speak for black folks.

Now if it was just Em commenting on things as himself, I think that could have played out a hell of a lot better. Not really with making sequels to things but White America is underrated to me and something along the lines of that, Em addressing white folks and the political spectrum from his POV would have been perfect.

I even fukk with Mosh heavy, especially the video. But Untouchable was uncomfortable to listen to, aside from it not being a good song I just knew what he was trying to do, whatever his intentions weren't going to go over well.

"I'm one of the things that keeps this ship moving!" :sadcam:

Gon say slave ship like you want....bytch ass cac :scust:
It's true,

Who else is pushing wordsmiths and battle rap etc forward more than em?

Notice how Joe switched sides, he never talks about the Royce , Lupe , pusha , Joyner etc tapes on the podcast.

And now he on this content is greater than rhyming, flow, bending words, lyrical ish .

Joe is trying to sabotage where he from because nobody paid him no mind .Trying to take his ball and go home.

I've listen to 90% + of his podcast never has he ever talked about music with actual content Minus hov and drake.

And for the record he claims he never heard revival, and that was another tatic to not talk about it on the podcast.

Joe is salty af

Crook got some dope solo shyt, but while he's the most technically proficient outta all of them he's more one-dimensional overall.

Royce :merchant:

But yea with Joe, his appeal is his emotion. Listen to his verse on Truth or truth and you'll see why he was a special element in that group.

:wow::wow::wow:

I would say he's even more well rounded than Royce when it comes to skill and having content, the only way to make the group not be boring is to do more songs along those lines which was Joe's pocket. Without that, they're just a bunch of nikkas rapping to be rapping, 4 Horsemen status.

When it comes to budden I just can't get with his voice and delivery. He's saying some real shyt but I just don't like his flow.
But I'll check out some more of his catalogue, maybe it'll grow on me.

That’s pretty much what it comes down too. Em is doing an interview being honest about stuff and folks are saying it comes off “too forced.” If he would have stayed silent folks would have called him a coward. It’s really damned if u do and damned if u don’t.

Only on the Internet do folks write off Em and never take him serious. And even if he would drop an album completely produced by Alchemist, folks would STILL hate on it.

He could sell all the records in the world (with his age, that’s quite an accomplishment). But the “majority” in hip-hop will never take him serious.

With these interviews Em looks legit irritated. Irritated with the state of hip-hop, irritated with the reviews of his last album, irritated that Slaughterhouse didn’t go right, irritated about the whole MGK shyt. Just irritated period.

Dude dead ass cannot handle constructive criticism either which is quite telling. Now i know what Just Blaze meant when he told his story about working with Em. Paul told him it’s because of how he says things and Em doesn’t respond well to folks like that :gucci:

He still my favorite rapper and all but cmon bro..grow a pair.

And him being tone def to the backlash to the Slaughterhouse and the Revivial album is quite telling as well. He never points the finger at himself.

These interviews are quite interesting to Em’s thought process to me.

He has a ton of respect from his peers. He also will never be a consensus GOAT or top 5-10 to many fans but still, he will always be mentioned in a lot of people's lists. He's in a damn good spot as far as his legacy if you ask me.

He made his mark in part by always being a polarizing figure in hip hop so I think he also needs to accept that as he enters his latter years that that will never change...he'll always be polarizing.

Cam embarrassed Nas doe.

Nah he embarrassed himself. Said he would piss on a little girl's face all cuz a dude said his album was wack. And we talk about Em being too thin skinned lol. Nas played it right just sending subs and sending Nashawn at them instead. Dips came off looking desperate constantly dissing him.

It’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation for EM. He knows this too well. He literally gains nothing from going at MGK.

True, it is. All I'm saying is old school Em woulda fired back. Maybe he should give him the Cage treatment and only send him a couple lines.

Mosh was a far better song than Untouchable, everything about it seemed forced. Mosh sounded alot more relaxed and genuine. same with We As Americans. i know he can do alot better than Untouchable. he needs to approach that topic again but make it seem like he means it.

Oh i get it...but when i said “majority” I’m talking about the folks on the Internet that speak like they the “majority” but reality says differently.
