Em needs to prove he can make music and not just rap. He can fukking rap and I enjoy that.

I am a fan but this album save for a few joints feels pointless.

He's gotta stop making relationship music, too. It's always terrible to me.

I've played the album a bunch and I think he needs to focus on making one more dope as fukk album. Not just albums responding to the last album.

yeah encore is fukking horrible. the problem with eminem's post-relapse albums (at least until kamikaze imo) is that he was making these huge hits but he had no idea where he was going creatively. revival is just the lowest point in that, but more because he half-assed it and brought in rick rubin for whatever reason. they're more boring than they are bad, but encore is a hall of shame album

Em can do more songs like "Zeus" where he focuses on real shyt but like the song was still about how he's a lyricist. He should have made the whole track on cops

Finally listened to this. Off first listen it seems like he isn’t yelling at all anymore, which is a good thing. The production is solid here and there with some weak spots. Alfreds Theme is dope and he spazzed but how many similes was he going for lol at one point it just constant cringeworthy punchlines. GNANT was the gem on this album I loved the third beat. Zeus was pretty dope too. First half of the album is good last half is hit or miss. Discombobulated felt like it should’ve been better than the result.
