I see alot of the Encore hate and I get alot of it but I actually enjoyed it mostly. Also, it has We As Americans on it which is one of my top 3 Em songs. I didn't like Recovery as much as I did Encroe honestly. I guess im just not a fan of sober Em that much. As far as listing each of his albums I'd say

MMLP>>SSEP/LP>>Relapse+Refill>>TES>>Infinite>>Encore>>Recovery>>MMLP

Encore were the addiction days though. Plus he had said everything there was to say at that point. What was he going to talk about after TES and 8 Mile? His whole personal life was either in his music or the media, he was done with it. What do addicted 100 million selling artists do at that point? Some blow their brains out, some shave their head, others make Encore. It is what it is.

I agree with this reading of the album. Well done. Basically, Eminem fans were in on the joke on the first three major albums, and on that one the joke was on us. That's not to say it didn't have moments, and some of the stupid stuff is kind of funny in an absurd way--except for the fact that we actually paid to hear it. I mean, "Just Lose it" is kind of funny when you look at it from the perspective of the record label was begging him for a hit single and that is what he delivered. A total f you to them and the fans that gobbled up that stuff. At the same time, it's a horrible song. Plus, he pretty much told the same joke on "My 1st Single." The inclusion of both runs the joke into the ground. "Big Weenie" and "Rain Man" are pretty much indefensible.

Adults actually like So Much Better? :mindblown:
thats Em :manny:

that actually sounds like MMLP2 out of the joints on there. not like Monster
Right.. I use to think people like him, Tech N9ne, Twista, etc could do their verse without punching though

I can tell Em can nail these parts without messing up the words, but I can see where he loses breath too/takes a breath.. don't know if that's cuz of the energy being used to also perform or what because there's like no footage out of Em in the studio recording and on his recent material post drugs, you can't even hear where he takes breaths
Em doesnt ALWAYS punch in but on Rap God he punches all over it. Someone like Tech N9ne punches in every 4 bars usually. he changes his flow alot so you can usually tell when he does. doesnt mean they cant spit it live though...but some parts still need a hypeman.

Exactly, except the part about Rain Man. Rain Man is classic.

I would actually keep rain man and big weenie as the 2 ridiculous tracks because they are 2 of the best beats on the album. Then I'd throw just lose it, ass like that and my 1st single in the bushes replace them with the bonus tracks and u got a 3.5/5 album if not 4 IMO

I didn't dislike TES at all but I'm more into Em when he's on his maniacal shyt. Relapse got alot of flack for using the accents(which didn't bother me at all) but not enough praise for songs like Stay Wide Awake and

Deja Vu which are some of his most lyrical and best songs to date. Even songs like Bagpipes from Baghdad were dope to me because of the multis and the flow was just :ohlawd: on it. TES is great but a nikka just liked Relapse

better :manny: honestly they both have some classics on em imo

You don't have to agree with me on that one, that probably the child in me that is able to laugh at shyt like that.

But who's to say, what's fair to say,
and what not say
LETS ask Dr Dre
Dr. Dre (whatup), I got a question if I may (yeah)

shyt always had me :heh:, the things he had the frontman of NWA do and say those days
