I love Stronger than I was. Wish the beat during the rhyming was better, but I like when Em sings for the most part

Hailie's song, I remember... Dopeness

Making of Bad Guy beat

ive been a huge Em fan since 99, even love Recovery :merchant:, but I can't get into this yet. Gonna give it another listen today. Stronger than I was is the biggest :trash: he has ever released.

Headlights :camby: I can't believe a majority of you like it :wtf: but if you have that kinda love/hate relationship with your mom I could see how its relatable I guess. I get that he has changed and matured but when he bodied her on 3-4 different songs years back I didnt think he would ever write some soft crybaby apology like this.

bad guy, @sshole, rap god, survival, so far, the monster, and evil twin are pretty good though. i kinda even like berzerk too. I guess my expectations overall were just way off :manny:

I went back to Recovery today, and it had me  throughout the whole album. The good songs on Encore >>>> Recovery. Cringeworthy lines, terrible beats, Honestly think it's his weakest album, by far.

I'm still kinda :patrice: about it.

After 2 or 3 listens I stopped being mad about the whole "sequel" concept and kinda understood that's a reflection on not just the album but that incarnation of Marshall the person. Once I got passed that and stopped trying to find this albums version of "criminal" I started to fukk with it a little more. I'll be honest I went into the listening experience kinda aggravated not only at the name but the fact that survivor ended up on the album, on some "crack a bottle" shyt getting shoved in the middle of the an album it has no place on just for promo. I already had it in my mind what I wanted the album to sound like before I heard it, and this wasn't it.

I can deal with berserk, survivor is aggravating, the monster is cliche/pop that does what it does. Not a bad song, just not a song I want from eminem and an obvious, anthem/stadium blah blah blah top 40 fakkit shyt. I hate a$$hole, don't like so much better, and love game is just awkward, still don't know how I feel about that song.

Bad guy
rhyme or reason
legacy
rap god
brainless
so far
headlights (would be perfect without the gilbert godfrey shyt)

all joints that I like.

stronger than I was is probably my second favorite song, I actually like the majority of his "singing" tracks like hallies song or beautiful, and its probably the best beat on the album. Reminds of 80's pop ballad/time after time type shyt so I dig it, my only complaint is the extra ughhhs

evil twin is my favorite track other than stronger, vintage shyt, makes me want to write rhymes which is really what I listen to eminem for, inspiration.

Most of the bonus cuts were dope and should have made the album, def can't ride to the retail copy of this. I'll make another revision once the full don't front track drops, monster/survival/a$$hole/berserk all go to the bushes.

so aren't you gonna finish the story?

ur gonna leave us hanging? :wtf:

My step dad was too drunk to drive his broad (hooker) back to her crib, so he called me to be the designated driver. Em hit that super sonic shyt and he gave me this look like and said "who the fukk is that!" And he turned it up, she's in the back (she has to be like 50) like "slim shady!"

LONDON, Nov 3 (Reuters) - American rapper Eminem and singer Rihanna have grabbed the top spot in Britain's single charts, the Official Charts Company said on Sunday, denying One Direction what would have been the band's fourth number one.

The duo's joint track, "The Monster", was taken from Eminem's new album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2", which is due to be released on Monday. It shot straight to the top spot even though it only went on sale last Tuesday.

It pushed last week's number one, "Royals" by New Zealand-born teenager Lorde, into second place. One Direction and their new single "Story of my life" made do with the fourth slot.

I know im in the minority on Recovery love :heh:.
Eminem Show>MMLP>Recovery>SSLP>Relapse>MMLP2>>>>>>Encore

Encore's beats are :wow: but the lyrics and song themes are beyond garbage outside of 2-3 songs. It's the only album of his I think I will never listen to again.

And there are a few songs on MMLP2 that i'll never revisit again either. Just cannot fukk with stronger than i was or headlights ever. atrocious.

Encore had fart noises as beats and had a song about Em pretending to be mentally handicapped. Nothing will top the atrocity known as Encore. NOTHING.

Like I said, the good songs. After that last listen I'm convinced he couldn't be serious. The fact that he shot the audience at the end of the cd says it all. Like "fukk yall, half the cd you just listened to was pure garbage and you still bought and even made it to the end without snapping the cd in half". The good songs where just a revisitation of his earlier work, hence the name encore. He was on drugs, gave everybody a big fukk you with Encore, and was out for 5 years. That album can't be taken serious. He really tried with Recovery, and it sucked.

He was on drugs before Encore too. Those albums were good.

Encore were the addiction days though. Plus he had said everything there was to say at that point. What was he going to talk about after TES and 8 Mile? His whole personal life was either in his music or the media, he was done with it. What do addicted 100 million selling artists do at that point? Some blow their brains out, some shave their head, others make Encore. It is what it is.
