No. It came from posts. It accumulates over time. At least I think that's how it works. I haven't made any bets.
Daps and reps? Not too much of a difference I don't think. Reps are more personal.
"Dap" is basically equivalent to "like this post," and has no affect on reputation points. "Rep" is something you can give to other uses, and you can either give positive rep or negative rep (each is worth 10 points I believe) - and it affects their overall reputation points.
