This album is quite good lyrically, its an album to sit down to sit down and listen to lyrically. You are never gonna get an album from Eminem that you can bump in the car and turn up, or songs you dance to in the club to. Accept Eminem for the artist he is, this album good.

yeah if you dont like hip-hop and are trying to dance to it. you will be dissapointed

if you need dumbed down lyrics theres drake/jay/kanye/2 chainz/ etc

Thank you, this album just lyrics, most people feel if you dont have a club song, turn up song your album is wack, Eminem is not an artist who makes club songs.

i hate people like u that try to force a bunch of bullshyt on me

Kind of like how you constantly post Em lyrics and talk about why they make him so great? :comeon:

i like lyrics and skills if u like rappers that can't rap for sit then more power to you
but i like mc's that can actually rap imo.

There are plenty of people with skills who rap about stuff that no one can relate to. No one is overhyping them though like with Eminem.

I like listening to people with skills and material that doesn't only appeal to 12 year old suburban kids.

I finally listened to this the whole way through including the bonus tracks. And to be honest, I'm not really feeling it like that.

Bad Guy is by far the best track on the album. Desperation is :gag:. That KDot feature was a total waste. I was expecting something along the lines of "Forever" or "Renegade" where they are just spitting.

2.5/5, maybe 3/5.

It's just to much silly shyt in his subject matter on this entire album, and that's one of the main reasons why I can't say is one of the best of all time.

the beats are wack for the most part. A lot of you people try to make us believe as long as em rap good the beat ain't that important. Fist of all an average mc with greats beats >>>>>>>> a great mc on average beats (that's why livin proof >>>>>>> can i bus for example). Second of all, eminem raps are completly random as fukk, accelarations, off beat on a lot of records (thats pretty unusual coming from him) a lot of sound effects that keeps polluting his lyrics. It's like rap god, which is supposed to be a rap demonstration. The track is a complete mess, random lyrics, different flow without any structure, that's clearly a freestyle type of track that should have been on bad meets evil instead of mmlp 2. I can not stand his own voice anymore, the way he handle his choruses is horrid. He need to understand rapping fast does not equal rapping good. We KNOW you can rap fast and good, but stop be in full robot mode em', you're better when you stay focus.

A track like So far is the best example of eminem's lack of a song structure. HOW can you do a rap song with a reggae chorus, a rock beat and scratches with a little bit of a classic rap break beat ?

The artistic direction is messy too, not only moraly and the quality too. Moraly because for an album supposed to be the sequel of an album that shytted on pop stars, it's pretty popish on the sound. A lot of weak choruses with a lot a females. Even Jonas brothers albums must be more hardcore, this album doesn't even deserve the parental advisory sticker. And about the quality, a lot of subpar beats. You can do pop, buit at least make good pop (like a lot of lupe beats for example, they are pop but good pop), that isn't the case here. As far as I hated Yeezus, at least Kanye took risks, eminem didn't, I expected this, even if it's not pleasant as I hope it would be.

Eminem is one of the rare artist who whatever music he can put out will sell and even have fans defend him. (By the way, even if I agree you can't judge an album after 1 listening, it don't take 10 listening sessions and put the album with 2.5 stereo system dth sound 320kps to get an album, trash still trash, stop with that bullshyt). Eminem with his stature could have the best producer, alc, more of sid roams... but he decided to stick with artist who have deals with interscope (alex da kid)

I liked three songs only, bad guy, rhyme and reason and evil twin, that's it. Some of the bonus track should have made the final cut too. Love game was a waste of talent and monster is inexcusable

I haven't listened to this in the car yet, but I feel like this might be his best album to play in the whip.
