This album is pretty bad... He completely lost his edge...
And I'd beg and i'd plead, drop to knees

Why are you trying to force yourself to like the album on the second day after you said yesterday it was underwhelming?
And I don't mean that in a mean way or anything but breh you just got to let it go the first impression of the album is usually your true feelings. Just like the first answer you put on a test is usually right before you change it.
I am sorry it hurts but there are good aspects to look at.

At some point Eminem decided that he needed to be SUPER-lyrical all of the time. Like he was constantly trying to prove his superior skills at the expense of listenable music.
A track like Headlights actually couldve worked if he wasnt doing double-triple times awkward flowing throughout the whole joint. If he slowed down a bit, the emotion in the song would have more room to breathe.
Still, I was a fan of the original and can definitely see some brilliance on this album. The Rick Rubin touch is actually nice, Em is an old white guy and to hear him over classic rock is more appropriate than YMCMB beats. He also namedrops more 80s-early 90s MCs than anyone. If you shave off like 5-6 tracks this is a decent, fun album from Eminem in 2013

I only been playing two songs, I haven't even played it front to back yet, i'm not forcing myself to like anything, I been saying I liked that song from jump. Makes even more sense hearing it from Kim's perspective.
