I don't understand where all your confidence comes from. The Lakers were better than the Clippers LAST year. Of course the media was going to put them over them prior to seeing them play. Of course the media would put an LA team that improved it's starting line up over an OKC team that was eeking out wins against LA when their team was worse.

It's like you're not a fan of reality and are trying to play the media favoritism card. You sound like those Celtics fans that I was telling MIA would beat them in the playoffs after MIA started off 9-8. The Lakers still need tweaks, but citing chemistry a week into the season is grasping.
Please. You should've learned your lesson from your gross overrating of the Lakers last year before you talk about anyone not being a fan of reality. I'm not just talking about the media, I'm talking about average people I know and stuff I read on the social network sites. I don't understand why it seems to be a given that they were now supposed to be one of the best 1 or 2 teams in the west, and how a lot of people were saying the west was theirs after the Harden trade. I don't think they've leapfrogged the Spurs.

I don't see it. Howard was an upgrade over Bynum, I agree. Nash can still perform obviously, but he's a defensive liability, he's almost 40, and it's unclear how he will perform in a system that doesn't go through him. They still have the same set of deficiencies they had last year.

If they were better than the Clippers last year, which I'm not even sure of, it was only marginally. And the Clippers have improved more than them imo. Adding Jamal Crawford, Lamar Odom, Willie Green, and Nick Hollison and Chauncey Billups coming back to an already strong core > swapping Howard for Bynum and adding Nash.

And yes, I'm going to talk about team chemistry because they didn't have it last year, and how they've added more parts and a new system. They're not built for championship ball. That big man combo and no speed and athleticism on the perimeter stuff isn't doing it in today's NBA. Teams are going to push the ball against them in the playoffs and run them out of the gym.

"Before that, Howard turned on some pleasant music so he could groove in front of his locker while he got dressed, his teammates all already long gone to the bus. Before that, he asked a Lakers staffer if hitting his free throws meant he could have his Halloween candy. Then he asked again. And again."

Before that, Howard mooned a TV cameraman whom he suspected of having his camera on while Howard had his underwear halfway down. Howard responded by sticking his rear end farther out, saying: "I've got a wide shot for you." And he giggled.

:wtf:

:laff: Dwight gonna make this team 10x funnier and yall thought bynum was a clown
