Making the most out of what he has? He's one of the most physically gifted 7 footers of the last 30 years, he's basically the white Ralph Sampson. You cutting him slack when he's literally throwing himself to the floor whenever someone touches him off the ball, Embiid out here trolling his way into picking up fouls with the ball.
Like I said, Porzingis is built like a twig of a branch that breaks in the wind, whereas Embiid is the tree itself. Porzingis uses those tactics because he has virtually no other option - Embiid's in the post with a size/weight advantage and his first thought is weighing up which angle he can flop at to get an official to notice. A "Prince of the Post" should be weighing up what counter move he's gonna use when the defender takes his first option away from him. All those years of condemning Kobe for his flopping in argument v. Duncan, and yet here you are excusing Duncan's heir apparent for flopping.

:hhh:

What part of the game is that?
I don't believe you :leostare:

Are you talking about Andres Drumvac? The passing out of the post has been Maybach Music levels of smooth this year, and he is better than DeAndre
I'm still waiting on those post moves of his that the brochure said would arrive by 2016.

Porzingis flops on defense while Embiid baits people into fouling him when he has the ball, these situations shouldn't be graded the same and yet you are judging the Young Gawd more harshly and then putting Porzingis on the same level :smh:

And I haven't even mentioned the word "Flop" more than 50 times since I posted on here, it's not really in my vocab so you must have me confused as it relates to Kobe & Duncan :hubie:

@CantStop's got more dirt on you than anyone else. Perhaps I need to keep him onside, as he may be useful in the future. @CantStop where do I sign up for the LWO-affiliated program?

@CantStop is just one poster, you got multiple fanbases that want you dead, they just lack a leader to bring them together, don't make me run for office

He's right about this @Gil Scott-Heroin , you aren't exactly the popular vote but then again Trump did win the election.

But I gotta side with Gil about Embiid, he has euro tendencies and even lusts over euro cac thots on IG. :gag:

I'd only have to assassinate you and they'd have no choice but to bow down.

I'm gonna take this as you comparing @Malta to Trump, and not me, after all, most of my haters are the MAGA-equivalent on this board.

Porzingis has an excuse, with his center of gravity being that of a praying mantis. When Porzingis gets his weight up, and doesn't look like he'd be taken away in a gust of wind, and is still pulling that shyt, then we can talk. Embiid's out here pushing 300lbs and resorting to this nonsense. I suggest you add in your daily prayer to the Post Gods that they steer you in the right direction; away from the sins that conflict with the 10 Post Commandments.

In the soccer playing world, drawing fouls is recognized as an art of gamesmanship.

Only hypermasculine American sentiment views drawing fouls as though it is some black magic/voodoo aspect of the game.

That's because Embiid depends on producing from a larger percentage of his possessions in the post - around 43% of his possessions are post-ups (which is the topic of discussion here) and Porzingis is an equal-threat from the inside and out - only 25% of his possessions are post-ups. If Embiid was a reliable perimeter scorer, I wouldn't be judging him as harshly as I am. But since producing on the low block is his bread and butter, I must judge the effectiveness of his game accordingly. If Porzingis wasn't a Euro, blanketed with melanin, similar size and had a similar inside-style of play as Embiid, I'd be holding him to the exact same standards.

You seem to be doing a lot of deflecting, instead of addressing how this may come back to bite Embiid when the officials allow teams to defend him with more contact. After all, a back-to-the-basket game is supposed to be one of the highest-percentage actions of scoring in a postseason climate, how exactly is that going to get consistent results if one has a tendency to look for a whistle, instead of looking to use one's post moves?

You may not have mentioned "flop" per se, but you've illustrated the point of it. And I wasn't necessarily talking about here, but on SOHH. I could've sworn you were amongst a group of those who frowned upon Kobe's tactics in the playoffs. If not then, I'll let you off with a warning....

:troll:

Point still stands, if he was worthy of being next in line for Post position, he wouldn't have to resort to this tomfoolery - we'd simply be speaking about his moves, and his moves only. But that's not the case here. I don't remember you having to spin shyt like this when it came to Duncan's post play.
Passing is a move :troll:
3.9 assists
3.2 turnovers

:patrice:

Or are those turnovers from him struggling to post up -

1.5 post-up possessions per game, 40 FG%, 1 point per game, 23% turnover frequency, in the 9th percentile ()
