Khrysis was saying he learned a ton about writing from Elzhi and watching Elzhi write was different than any rapper he'd ever seen do it.

I wish he said exactly what it was, but he said the way Elzhi comes up with his patterns and words is some next level shyt.

:damn:

They're doing more Jericho Jackson projects BTW
El explained it in one those mc documentaries, i cant remember which one off hand though, it was way back though before elmatic even.

I wish it had a couple more tracks too. If you want to add Detroit State of Mind Remix to your playlist or No Competition feat. Phonte and Talib Kweli, both of those tracks are also produced by Khrysis and are on all streaming platforms.

There will be another Jericho Jackson project too. They made this one in about 5 weeks.

I remember catz were saying El was lazy in regards to putting music out like Lead Poison for instance, not believing he was going through some shyt

"All these thoughts inside my head keep me up at night
I queue a beat, plug in my ear buds, let it bump and write
Something heavy or is it something light
Do I base it on pumpin white
Or thoughts about Trump and right/wing conservatives
And talk about these haters and how payback triggers nervousness
Revenge is best cold when you serve the dish with no preservatives
But maybe this just ain't the track for that
And do the marked(?) syllables and acrobats
I need to knock it out the park and crack the bats with championship back to backs
Anyone short changin me is paying active tax"

First listen, this is kinda bland. Nothing really stands out. But I know sometimes Elzhi stuff I like better on the second and third listens so I'll give this another shot.
