I think he will do way better running MSNBC than X. He will absolutely clean house and put in younger right wing online influencers. Brah spends zero money on tesla ads but now he got a free platform to promote his products. I wonder what he will call it 🤔 X-News

Let him throw his money away if he wants to. Wtf would he even do with it?
Everybody needs to read up on Victor Orban and Hungary. This is another step in the authoritarian playbook. Highly recommend this small guide from Timothy Snyder. 20 steps to a dictatorship - on tyranny.

Not sure but in the recent news NBC is looking to sell off MSNBC because MSNBC is making viewers not watch NBC because they associate it with being "Anti-Trump" and "Too far left", and you know NBC cares about viewership. They don't want to be associated with them anymore

Funny how Fox Sports and local Fox affiliates don't have this problem being associated with the Fox News Channel

Those not understanding why he would waste time buying the station aren't seeing the big picture.

Imagine you were in his shoes. Wouldn't you want to own a major news network to spew out your preferred ideal of Alt-Right/Far-Right ideologies, politics, propaganda, and rhetoric just for the hell of it? It's the thought that counts here which is the buying point for him. It all counts for something.

It's not about ratings and viewership.

MSNBC would become a conservative Far-Right outlet under his ownership, similar to how X, formally known as Twitter has become a backdrop for Alt-Right/Far-Right viewpoints.

It's like I said before while some of you are wasting day by day babbling on about politically trivial shyt and grandstanding on fantasy policies that have no chance of ever passing, among other things, Conservatives, Alt-Right/Far-Right groups, and politicians are focusing on the most important factors that can shape the future which is INFLUENCE through political/media POWER.

The keywords here are INFLUENCE and POWER.

White Supremacists, Neo-Nazis, Racists, etc want POWER and INFLUENCE.
Many others are underestimating and downplaying what they truly want in the grand scheme.

apparently nbc is basically giving it away so the whole money thing shouldn’t be an issue

there should be plenty of left wing rich ppl that could compete and purchase it.

problem is MSNBC programming is garbage outside of Scarborough and Maddow…who would want to keep the rest of those bozos around . They went too left and weirdo

shoulda kept Mathews and no reason Cuomo should be on newnation and not MSNBC ….unless dude wanted the world
Fox can be as far right as they want. Why can’t nbc be far left?

Because they don’t have the talent to carry their programming.

Maddow is far left and is great at what she does …The rest of their lineup is nowhere near as good as she is …You not gonna take Lester **** or Savannah Guthrie off NBC to put on MSNBC

The other great left leaning news ppl are on other networks (Anderson Cooper,Tapper,Cuomo )

For most ppl that are left or center when some major news shyt pop off we ain’t gonna run to MSNBC to see what Ari Melber and Joy Reid saying …we gonna go straight to Wolf Blitzer,Tapper or Coop and see what’s going on…and if you on the right you gonna go into your Fox Bubble

Fox News just isn’t right wing ..they have/had talent that are great at what they do. Over the years they had Hannity/Tucker Carlson/Bill O’Reilly /Lauren Ingraham/Baier/Jesse Waters….they all may be varying versions of crazy as fukk but they’re good at it .

Add in the fact that the Fox crowd is tied in with podcast guys like Rogan,Theo Von and that Tim Poole dude (how ppl fw him I have no idea ) it’s easy to see why Fox can eat on the Right when MSNBC can’t on the left.

He could just buy Fox for that. These stations are sharing like 5 million people. They broadcast around the nation! If he really wanted to do all that he’d just buy the suction that seems to love Trump the most.. the same network that’s winning already. Him having a network to spew out his ideologies don’t mean shyt if ain’t nobody watching. People on both sides of the political spectrum are tuning out of these networks. You think Fox would let him buy a network and just challenge them? I mean they’re talking about ratings being low as a reason for him to buy it… ratings matter man.

Ehh I guess that’s subjective. I don’t see how trying to play the middle is a better strategy when CNN already has that lane and the right wing crowd is not going to watch nbc regardless so you might as well placate to your base.
