If he did it, it’d only be for the lulz because cable news is a dying industry and right wing media is already over saturated. With that being said, sadly, if he put Joe Rogan as the centerpiece of the network and filled it with podcast/internet types I could see it being successful as long as it’s also app. based.

Most news outlets are owned by billionaires. The only difference is Elon keeps his face in the public. I remember when there was one news outlet closely flowing where Amazon was planning to their headquarters a few years back. The Washington Post and guess who owns that.
