One man having control over a critical technology like that is just asking for trouble.
Same thing I was thinking and why I say the Republicans are following him and not Trump around.
Twitter is the place all these attention-hungry Republicans go to get eyes on them. If their Twitter presence is gone, their chances for re-election are slim. They don’t want to get banned on that platform so they’ll play nice.
Then the defense and aerospace industries really want a piece of Elon’s technology and business. Communication systems, self-flying rockets, cars, etc.
Nearly $500 billion net worth already, nearly twice what the next richest person has. When you think if the scale a single billion dollars is, that’s absolutely crazy. Like we mentioned in the other thread, this guy bought the U.S Presidency for $300 mil, which is about ~1/2,000 of his net worth.
Reagonomics and capitalism has created people like this while causing an insane disparity in wealth and we have no intentions of ending it. These reasons and more are why I don’t think this dude will get held accountable.
