Let's say he does buy TikTok. What would you all do? Many of you remain on Twitter (X) and I guess I can assume many of you use TikTok at the moment. Would you continue to complain a Facist simpathizer owns the aps, our will you actually stop using them?
I can give the answer to my question. I don't use TikTok, so easy enough to avoid it for me. I stopped using Twitter (X) as soon as the ink dried on the deal. I see no reason to complain over and over again about something, when the simple solution for me is to refrain from using it. That may not be the case for others, but I find complaints without actions are a waste of time and effort.

All ill say is, people allow themselves to be treated this way. They have options for resolving the problem. That's all I'm going to say and I will not elaborate.

The thing with fascist politics is that it's the kind of frenzy you get in a witch hunt. You eventually run out of easily identifiable victims to blame, and then start turning on each other for a lack of ideological purity. Eventually the thing collapses due to infighting as powerful groups each vie for total control.
Meanwhile people will leave the app and willingly join the Chinese version because they don't want to see nazi shyt every 30 seconds, ironically this will make them more receptive to communist ideas. But that's the point. When you've run out of immigrants, homosexuals and black people, you'll go after people who have the "wrong" politics. Once you've done that, then you go after people who aren't loyal enough. Once you've done that, you then descend into bankruptcy because nobody is left to advertise to, buy your company stock, or buy your overpriced subscriptions or products. You can't build an entire economy on rich people. Rich people don't buy thousands of cartons of eggs each day. They don't buy millions of subscriptions to streaming services. They don't spend millions on services each day. When rich people get tax breaks they spend it on shyt only they can afford and on things that will grow their wealth like stock, real estate, land, or businesses.
America's economy has not truly recovered since 2008. It's running purely on speculation fueled by big tech. If big tech ever goes bust(the likelihood only increases when you feel you're invincible and have no competition or anyone who can check you) it will take the whole american economy with it. 2008 is going to look like a mild disturbance.
Trillions of dollars in value will be gone. Just like that.
