Murdoch set that stage long ago across three nations. You'd have to go deeper to get at those roots, and Musk knows it.
an australian has been setting the tone for conservative politics in america for almost 4 decades.

it only makes sense that america would let a south african CAC do the same now. this country moves to the beat of money and only money. foreigners have more and we bow to their whims

Fine, if you need a more "credible" source, see below. Tacit approval is still approval. You rationalized an attack on a politician's kid; no matter how you slice it.

The shocking Barron Trump allegations just keep getting worse

So you can castigate Musk for using his platform to joke about an assassination attempt that could incite real action. But did you do the same as, a sitting president, Joe Biden's campaign consistently linked Trump to Hitler? Which by your own logic, could have lead to two assassination attempts? If I'm wrong and you condemned Joe for doing so, please go ahead and post your quotes.

Why Biden’s campaign keeps linking Trump to Hitler

So here we are. You say that it's disgusting to mock a 17 year old child with a disability, but it's not disgusting to make allegations about am 18 year old child.
That is quoting the same story and it is just some random site too. Do you know how a news aggregator works? That is what MSN is now. Anyone can put a story up there. Look at the top of the page.

I didn't rationalize shyt. I challenged your point, which is why you disappeared afterwards.

As far as Musk, he isn't joking, he is engaging in stochastic terrorism. His words carry more weight, which is why we see stories like this:

Secret Service Probing Musk’s Post About Threats to Biden and Harris.

As far as likening Trump to Hitler. I was waiting for this false equivalence. I have no problem with Trump being compared to Hitler. That's what happens when you engage in Nazi rhetoric. Actually, it's pretty reasonable to compare his rhetoric to Hitlers, especially when it comes to race and genetics. Hitler was all about racial purity and the idea that certain races were superior and others were inferior. Trump talk about "good" and "bad genes," IQ differences, and how certain groups are prone to criminality because of their DNA. In fact, Trump has even talked about how certain races are "poisoning the blood" of America, which is extremely similar to Nazi rhetoric about racial contamination.

And no, they're not the same. Comparing Trump to Hitler is an observation and a critique that is meant to highlight the dangerous nature of the kind of rhetoric Trump engages in. When he mirrors language historically tied to violence, like Hitler's ideas about race and genetics, it's important to call attention to those parallels to prevent the normalization of those harmful ideologies. The intent behind this is not the same as what Elon is doing. To repeat it again, it is a false equivalence.

Edit: No one is buying your fake ass 'voice of reason' shtick, not with the amount of horseshyt you post on here.

I see, so in your mind an article carried by MSN, that found its way here and on other corners on of the internet and Twitter, is less impactful and reaches less people than radio...in 2024. While you argue that Twitter is a platform the reaches a lot of people and is dangerous. Sound logic.

Saying you didn't do something doesn't make it so. What exactly was your challenge, saying something axiomatic and redundant? No shyt politician kids get scrutinized. Is it right to do so? I say no, you say "well, it has always been like that". Really challenging and riveting stuff there. Bravo

Right, thanks for waiting for that comparison and proving my argument. If you can justify Trump being akin to Hitler (read: Trump), you can justify trying to kill Hitler before he becomes a threat. In other words, you support someone with a large platform using it in a way that could incite action against a presidential candidate. You didn't need that verbose nonsense to say all that.

I think Trump getting away with J6 is absolutely pathetic. But I can't turn around and applaud Biden for calling him Hitler and possibly getting him killed. Due process exists for a reason and no one should be above it.

If you perceive me to be a voice of reason, that's your prerogative. All I'm doing is saying you and op should keep the same energy. Of course talking about killing a VP or candidate is wrong. But it's wrong no matter who does it, there's no justification. That is how we lose the legitimacy of a republic and that is how Trump wins. When we rationalize irrational nonsense, like you and OP often do.

You're laughably dishonest. I guess that's why you went back and erased your post history. Yes, a story that reaches a far smaller audience is less impactful than a platform the size of Ann Coulter's, Dinesh D'Souza's, and yes, even Jay Weber's.

The point is to highlight your fake concern and how it wasn't a "now" thing. Just because it's "axiomatic" doesn't mean it shouldn't be pointed out. You act like history being a constant isn't relevant, but it actually is. Ignoring the fact that political families (even children) always face scrutiny just because it's obvious is missing the point. Acting like this is some brand-new overreach, when it's been the same pattern for decades, is silly, but par for the course for you. The point is in reminding people that what they're reacting to isn't some unprecedented attack. So, yeah, "it's always been like that" matters. You're saying "no shyt" now, but if you knew then, you wouldn't have said "now" at the time unless you were full of fukking shyt.

It didn't prove your argument at all. Pointing out parallels in rhetoric isn't the same as calling for violence, and twisting it into that is just disingenuous (shocker). Comparing Trump's rhetoric to Adolf Hitler's rhetoric is about warning against dangerous authoritarianism, not justifying or inciting any kind of violent action. There's a huge difference between analyzing history and inciting violence (like what Elon is engaging in). If you can't handle the historical comparison without leaping to that extreme, it says more about how defensive you are about Trump than it does about my argument. Sorry.

Your motivated criticisms of Trump don't mean anything to me. There's no same energy needed, because these are not equivalent situations. You're jut trying to force them to be, for reasons...

I think you should stop it with the "rationalize irrational nonsense" shyt given the shyt you post on here.

Repeating what you wrote in a previous post with more words isn't an argument. You literally added nothing new to everything I've already addressed. You just thought I'd be too lazy to address a wall of text; I'm not. Show me what I post here that's shyt.

The whole internet was clowning Trump for getting shot at and calling it staged.

But we want to be offended that this boer fakkit is cracking jokes about the possibility Kamala being shot at?

This is like when a journalist called Trump's son a psychopath and people laughed. But when Tim Walz's son was clowned, the same people were offended.

This election has made everyone go full retard.
If everything is a joke, then laugh at everything.
The same nikkas in here clutching their pearls were wishing trump got slumped.

Its interesting watching sheep behavior

I think he gets a pass because the us govt/military needs him for services like StarLink. They need to untie themselves from this idiot in a hurry.

I suspect the reason we overcommitted to EVs is he conned the govt into thinking tech was much further ahead than it really is.
