Trucker jobs are going to H1B applicants now, specifically from China. Entry level accounting jobs. Book keeping. Farming hands. Take a step back from just focusing on the engineering jobs. A lot of different jobs are using this exploit. Why? Because you can pay them less, work them 90 hours a week and they can't do shyt. What are they gonna do, quit? They lose the visa and get deported. They have to stay employed to remain in the US.

I'm open to shytcanning H1B. I'm open to heavily reforming it. Either way it will benefit Americans. This is not anti-immigrant sentiment either. A more open immigration process would allow more competition instead of allowing corporations to cherry pick a bunch of [insert group] to drive trucks, be engineering grunts, work in sales etc.

I fully support the O-1 visas, which are the ones for foreign geniuses. That's completely different, and more in line with the "bring the best to America" mantra that I have no issue with. But bringing a socially retarded Indian engineer over here because you can make him work 90 hours a week and under pay him compared to a (admittedly less smart) black/white/etc American is not sustainable.

What I don't get is why this is surprising to anyone. Well I do get it, but that's not point.

He's left so many bread crums leading towards his true intentions over the years. We can look at how he handled X. The need for his workers to be "hardcore" and commit themselves to work ridiculous hours. Surprise, surprise, those on a visa were under greater pressure to acquiesce to his demands.

Then there is increased concern about the population declining. You have his piece of shyt of a mother saying people should be happy to raise kids without taking them out to dinner or the movies, not long after her spawn talked about how we should take joy in knowing that events like Bezos' 600 mil wedding are taking place.

Telling people to focus on trades when setting his sights at nixing people's access to higher education, and then saying that immigration is needed because Americans are not qualified.

It is all about leverage for him. It is easier to exploit foreign people who are qualified. It is harder to exploit Americans who are qualified so the solution is to ensure that they're only qualified to do menial labour.
