5 pages in and that’s my whole thing. I’m like did I miss a piece??Am I missing something in the article. Why are ppl automatically assuming that the kid had nothing to do with the theft or the shoot out?

"Dooley said a basic kill switch ranges from $250 to $350 installed, and an alarm system can cost as little as $450 installed. “What a kill switch does is, once you put your key in the ignition, it's not going to start the vehicle,” he said.Sep 24, 2022"
I can tell you there is zero chance unless you self install that your paying $50 to $100 and I even doubt it price on most modern cars
There’s about 30 ways you could say “this could be avoided”. It happened though, so the correct move is just to blame the fukking criminals and move on. This website is so weird about crime threads.do people not have car insurance and gap coverage (if still financed). Why not tell the police where the app. spotted your car. He almost lost his life over a car and now a12 year old is dead. Not, saying these thieves are not at fault but the aftermath could have been avoided.
Now, he has no car and a dead body. I was in insurance 7 years and what you are saying is not accurate. Claims were paid pretty quickly for stolen cars. Gap in surance is very cheap if your car is financed. Now, the person has to deal with possible ramifications for playing rambo. He also could have been the one dead in the streets as well.If I lost my car, I’d probably be lose my job and how I provide for my family. It takes months to get your insurance claim verified, cops to actually send you the stuff you need, and card are unbelievably expensive right now.
You’re acting like it’s just a minor inconvenience

This is one reason why some of us give dense urban settings the finger and move out to the woods once we can afford some land. Nothing better than space between me and others. To hell with all the corruption that naturally arises when too many people encroach on one another.
It ain't fukk everybody, but it's definitely fukk the rest of y'all, if that makes sense
I'm getting old, grew up in the hood. Did dumb shyt in the hood but since when have 12 - 16 year old been menaces like this?
Something gotta be done, these kids attacking teachers and stealing cars turnt up, meanwhile..
Y'all gone have to decide how you get these young people to respect y'all, it's clear momma alone ain't cutt'n it.
People work hard for theirs to let these undisciplined children think there ain't no consequences. Who raised them?
Rich people already live in dense areas throughout major American cities what are you talking about.I don't need your Negropean, pro-urban ass telling me a damn thing about the human condition. I've lived my life and drawn my conclusions. Have some respect for a perspective other than yours when it comes to something as abstract as human behavior. Put a bunch of well off people in an environment where they live like sardines and you bet they'll have a greater chance of seeing each other's dark sides. From concentration of people to increased interactions, it's simple mathematics.
But people like you believe the rich are immune from their own primal, animalistic nature. That behavior is only reseved for the poor and downtrodden seems to be your belief.
Regardless of whatever the cause is, human beings are shıt, and the more they're around you the more chance you have of dealing with shıt. I don't like dealing with shıt other than my own so I have zero reason to live in spaces that are densely populated. And since I can afford to live my preferred way, that's what I do. Fukk that concrete jungle bullshıt for real for real.
I didn't say it wasn'tThat’s still being involved technically.
I live in the Denver metro area, I have had my catalytic converter stolen twice in the last 2 years and literally caught a guy in the act and cops still wouldn't come outdo people not have car insurance and gap coverage (if still financed). Why not tell the police where the app. spotted your car. He almost lost his life over a car and now a12 year old is dead. I don't agree either but the cops are not going to rush to retrieve a stolen car especially if it's a high crime area.do people not have car insurance and gap coverage (if still financed). They'll give you a percentage and usually you will not get and equivalent to what was stolen. Also, the owner is going to pay more insurance because some a$$hole stole their car.Dont insurance pay out for thefts if u got full coverage?
