Christie is too moderate to win the Republican Party as he stands right now. Romney went right during the primaries and it burned him in the election. The only way he stands a chance in 2016 is if the tea party dies by then.

As long as Christie railes against Obamacare (keep in mind fines for not having obamacare are raised to $695 in 2016) he will be fine

He's not really a moderate. He's a right wing conservative who just happens not to be a religious zealout

nyc is about to get fukked...if people thought bloomberg was bad...eh who am i kidding bloomberg was practically a democrat for the past decade anyway

Well Christie I look forward to the national election and the debates...i wish he would have debated Obama but i'm sure Christie will wallop whatever scrub the democrats put up because Hillary will be too old by then

Obama was just a weird cult of personality that the American people bought hook line and sinker and I wish they would have let him implement his obamacare before 2012 but now America gets a taste of the bullshyt they are going to endure because of it
You are beyond delusional if you consider Bloomberg a Democrat. He's socially liberal and aligns with progressives on gun issues and that's where it stops. The most reliable Democratic base are African-Americans and this guy endorses stop and frisk. Just stop.

Why didnt the race in Jersey narrow?
Weak opposition candidate and people in the Northeast are much more willing to vote for a Republican governor than a Republican for national office. See Chaffee in RI, Romney in MA, etc. People are getting way too gassed if they think this guy is going to put anywhere in the Northeast in play in a presidential election.
