he's just got way more swagger and hutzpah then Romney. He isn't liked by the tea party though...only way Christie gets defeated is if Ted Cruz can build a strong backing and i'll take Ted Cruz over Christie for policy purposes but when the time comes i want the most conservative candidate who can actually win the election
:what: ted cruz :heh: he will never be president

Christie 2016

Political history tells us....There is no way 2 north eastern republicans will be nominated in succession.
Lol@this utterly meaningless statement. Political history also tells us that a half black guy won't get a presidential nomination...or a Mormon...or a woman.

The only relevant thing at play here that history tells us is that the most electable person in the field gets the nomination. That's why Romney got it last time after the Repubs had flings with clowns like Bachmann, Cain, Perry, Gingrich, and Santorum. Romney was their best shot and the only one out of that collection of circus freaks that wouldn't have gotten straight landslided. Christie is the most electable Repub this time and he will win the nom.

Lol@people talking about the trouble Christie would have in the primary and ignoring the fact that some nativist Bircher like Rand Paul or Ted Cruz would have to win in states in the northeast, north, and west in order to win the primary. :dead: Christie can win the nomination without winning teabagger territory, and he will.

Yeah, so I was planning to vote after work. I am on my way out, but I get the feeling I have to poop. So, I use the company restroom. All done. Now, I drive home. It's a long commute. i'm thinking, "yeah, I am going to exercise my right to vote. I'm an American!" :blessed:

I get to my polling place and they are packing up. This woman says we close the polls at 7. :snoop:
I look at my watch and it's 7:04.

He won't win the primaries with that. Why do you think such a RINO like Romney went so right in his early campaign?
Because he had know balls to stick to his message. Do you really think thats a problem for Christie? Did you even watch the speech? He basically said his presidential campaign will be an extinction of his governors campaign

Why is everyone making a big deal about Christies reelection? No one will are about this when 2016 comes around. There is a lot of time for him to screw up even more and not get past the republican primaries.

I expected Terry to win a landslide and most recent polls showed it was going to be a blowout...... But it wasnt thanks to Obamacare flap which the was the point of my post :russ:

It wasn't about Obamacare... it was about low voter turnout and lack of enthusiasm to choose between two sleasy politicians bombarding us with nothing but mud slinging. Both candidates were dirty and had under a 30% approval rating . I went to vote yesterday morning and I literally walked right in and walked right out. Only people out here that care about the ACA were going to vote R anyway.

Christie is the GOP's only hope in 2016 bc billions are going behind the Clintons
