Which makes the looming victory for abortion rights even more telling. across political spectrums and views, abortion is largely a settled topic for Americans: MOST people are pro-choice. Yet republicans keep fukking with it. You may avoid losing senate and congressional races in Ohio solely due to abortion, but in less red parts of the country - ie most of the rest of the country - you're gonna get wiped. And that's what has been happening.

Ohio is weird -- it's very red, but central Ohio will flip flop every so often, and Cincinnati will vote Democrat in large numbers from time to time. They're even bold enough to have districts redrawn -- I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened there yet. Jim Jordan is LUCKY his district doesn't go further into Lorain County near Cleveland because he'd lose his seat expeditiously.
