Was in and out in central nj. No major shyt, just mayor, assembly, and BOE, but i will say finding out Board of Ed candidate positions aint easy since they arent classed as dem or repub so you actually gotta hear them state their beliefs.

Happened to find a youtube video of a candidate forum they did at my old highschool. Took about 10 minutes of the 40 minute video to figure out who to vote for since the nutjobs quickly outted themselves :skip:

Ohio is a hard state to get a read on politically. Cincinnati is a typically very red area, but yet they elected Jerry Springer, a Democrat as it's mayor. :wtf: :mjlol:

Cleveland, Toledo, Youngstown and Athens is SOLIDLY democratic, has been for decades. Columbus flip flops depending on the candidate. Rest of the state is largely red. :manny::patrice:

Which makes the looming victory for abortion rights even more telling. across political spectrums and views, abortion is largely a settled topic for Americans: MOST people are pro-choice. Yet republicans keep fukking with it. You may avoid losing senate and congressional races in Ohio solely due to abortion, but in less red parts of the country - ie most of the rest of the country - you're gonna get wiped. And that's what has been happening.
