Limgrave dragon on foot with knife.

As a melee player; I absolutely loved watching this.

No cheese. It was a nice use of cover, exploiting the right way and patience.

A lot of close calls.

Interestingly, I wonder if the poison enemy around the 6:40 mark could be used to poison the dragon after it explodes if you coupd bait him there.

Damn good ass question. That would be Ill as hell :ohhh: maybe it works but there isnt much enemy vs enemy damage in this game.

Yea I tried to capture the lone adventurer vibe with this one. Overcoming True adversity
:wow:

Playing this game is like sipping on fine wine. You got to take your time with it. With 4 of the shardbearers defeated i've finally made my way around the atlus plateau and the capital. Trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible but I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience so far :ahh: 105 hours level 86

Yeah, it's a take your time kinda game. I'm just exploring the atlus plateau as well. Took a break around 65 hours in and picked it back up refreshed and ready to explore new regions.

After putting 100+ hours into the game, I have come to the conclusion that the game is too big for its own good and the game is a sold 8/10.

i definitely got bored once I reached the capital city and stopped exploring. The fatigue set in and I just wanted the game to end. So I just kept farming ruins and started co-oping bosses . Pretty much rushed throw the city, the mountains and farum azula just to see it end.

Open world rpgs just not my thing. I prefer Bloodborne and dark souls 3 over this game. Those games are semi-open world and there’s a path you must follow to reach the end of the game. Elden Ring not so much.

If there weren't so many pallette swap bosses the exploration would be more rewarding.

I think I'm retiring after I finish this new game plus playthrough, I've seen most of what I wanna see.

Malenia
Dragonlord Placidusax
Borealis the Freezing Fog

are the only 3 bosses left on my to do list.

I'm saving Malenia for last :francis:

Faith build gets disgusting real quick once you get that blasphemous blade :wow:

1st stage malenia couldn't eem get off her knees :myman:

1st stage Ragadon got that work too

Between all the buffs and the black flame incants you can really tear this game up without that guilty feelings of Kamehameha cheese :ld:

That being said im trying an INT build out now and limit my melee weapons to daggers and whips (i stay whipping them cac ass giants :pachaha:)

If this game had the NEMESIS system from Shadow of War

Where smaller enemies who kill you leveled up as a reward.

Where enemies that encounter you comment on shyt that happened in battle with you before and talked shyt about how you lost.

shyt, even talked about exactly how many runes you lost if you had a legit bag on you when they killed you...

Breh, this would legit be the greatest game ever made to me.

This reminds me that I need to go back and finish this game. So many damn games that I'm not even close to completing:francis:

Shadow of War really captured me. I rarely finish single player games (primarily a HEAVILY competitive online pvp player).

The games that truly got lost in are a select few.

Red Dead Redemption 2
Shadow of War
and soon to be Elden Ring(over 190+ hours amd loved every bit of it after the 1st hour.lol)

It makes me mad that there wasn't more attempts to build on all the brilliance in Shadow of War. The Nemesis system with generals being upgraded; recruiting generals of your own that you could develop and bring along on the big battles; and those big battles themselves...they had an epic scale that I didn't feel matched until ghost of Tsushima, but Ghost felt like those epic fights were fewer and farther between (could just be nostalgia since I haven't played Shadow of War in a long while).

Shadow of War and Ghost of Tsushima are my top 2 favorite games from the PS4 run (along with Dragon Age Inquisition and Bloodborne). I don't I've found a PS5 game to mimic what those two had yet. Elden Ring is already my new improved Bloodborne.
