Honestly, my #1 gripe with the game is the lack of a quest log. Last night through a YouTube video, I found out I had an active quest with Bloody Finger Hunter Yura. Even with listening and reading shyt, 100% of my time in the game is me wandering around aimlessly. That was a bullshyt stupid ass decision, especially since I guarantee that the majority of the players are going to YouTube and IGN to walk them through. And I'm not a casual.
I didn't beat it yet. From what I heard when I did this or anybody done this its locked out and you only have one ending (evil ending). If you didn't do this you have 3 different endings
You can remove the flame.
You can remove the flame curse by getting the unalloyed gold needle from malenia i think

She got to a part yesterday where she fought a giant snake...killed it...then the snake turned over and it was a FACE underneath
Buddy was like "oh you trying to fight fight huh. Ok." Opened the dead snake mouth and pulled a giant sword out of it
Guess I'm going to have to start playing this after it goes on sale
