Valdivia wasn't even called. He's suspended for 2 more games but that's only for the World Cup Qualifiers, Pizzi didn't called him because he's playing on a money grab league in the UAE so no one knows if he's ready for high level competition (he's also getting up there in age) and he wanted to test other players. Still, the way we are playing it's only a matter of time before he comes back. He may be past his prime but he can still do his thing out there imo.

I've watched Charles DA GAWD Aranguiz play since he was 19, this was by far the worst match I've seen from him

Pathetic showing by pretty much all the team, including Pizzi (no clue what the fukk he wanted the team to do today, went away from what he had been doing in previous games). Argentina looked better prepared and played way better than us. Their midfield was a beast today, completely sonned Charles and Diaz with their pressure.

Breh I'm not expecting us to win this tournament at all. But Pizzi is starting his tenure as our manager and I need to see better than what it's been shown to me the last 2 weeks. He got the job with little to not time to prepare for the WC Qualifiers and we looked really good (even in a 1-2 loss against Argentina). Now he's had a month to prepare and we look pretty lost out there, defense is as vulnerable as ever and we can't score to save or lives. This Cup is not about winning it for me, it's about seeing what will Pizzi bring to the table after Sampaoli did an amazing job with a very talented group. And so far, I'm not impressed
