For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstition. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong, and whose thinking I have a deep affinity for, have no different quality for me than all other people. As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than other human groups, although they are protected from the worst cancers by a lack of power. Otherwise I cannot see anything "chosen" about them.

Einstein about to be become an HL conspiracy theorist hero. :russ:

the most important part of that letter to me was the last sentence, "Therefore I think that we would understand each other quite well if we talked about concrete things."

great observation.

that was a very elegant way to end the letter and a wonderful way to start a conversation.

I never understood atheists b.c they confuse the ether elements( God) with religion. They also are so enriched with institutional values of political parties and scientific pundits but never question or denounce them.

Most atheists had a family member they loved that died and blamed God for it.

cmon man...just about every adult has had someone they love who has died.
only an idiot would blame God.
death is the inevitable conclusion of life...not the reason for atheism.

I agree with you but I've talked to a few atheists friends and they had the same story. Believe in God....person they loved died...blamed God....now doesn't believe God exist. They are sticking to it...

your atheist friends are idiots.

i don't identify myself as an atheist btw...
i don't claim to know anything other than something beyond my understanding
has created this amazing reality that i am very lucky to experience.

i try to talk with this thing that made this all happen sometimes but i think that my actions in life speak louder than "prayers".

1. My atheist friends aren't idiots but they are confused on their logic. Same as atheists believing in institutional systems that are disguised as religion.

2. Word I agree...people think their minds are so powerful to comprehend life on earth but won't comprehend what they can't see past that.

3. Talk is something we as people do too much of...Meditation is key for what you are looking for and your actions by doing good is the answer you already possess.

Where is the real feedback instead of the attacking stance most atheist take.

Feedback to what, you shytting on atheists or how you view the world in a series of generalizations? I'll try.

Most people associate gods/deities with religion and vice versa. This sentiment isn't just reserved to atheists. There are 1000s of gods, which ones should I be open to?

As for the whole blaming God stance... How the hell can someone put the blame they dont believe in. I've clowned people for saying shyt like that because its simple minded thinking. Im more inclined to call those misotheists than atheists.

the evils of truth, and love
Sucks? For who? For you, because it doesn't conform with your worldview?

It didn't suck for Albert Einstein. He did rather well for himself. :comeon:

he was a dead beat dad that never knew his daughter :stop: stop praising that guy lil fella

it sucks for everyone because he could have been alot smarter had he not rejected reading

it took him until he was nearly on his death bed to realize eating alot of veggies is good for him....he could have read that in the bible and been :eat: real right from the get-go
