Not discounting something plausible that I can't prove against makes sense to me.

Sure... but you've taken a step further. Not only have you agreed that the god hypothesis is possible, you think it's more than likely. Not only that, you've accepted that this god is the one of Islam. Now, how you get from A to B to C is where you miss me.

As an atheist, I think it's more likely than not that science is correct, and religion are these made up fairy tales by people who didn't know anything about the universe. Note that I haven't ruled out the possibility of a deistic god -- a creator that put the big bang in motion, and let everything happen. But I won't accept that as true until there is good demonstrable evidence that that is what happened.

Wise people have discussions to further their discernment and understanding...

Most people debate simply to win, which is a sign of vanity\arrogance.

This is what's been going on in this thread since page 7

I couldn't agree more. ....It's been happening since page 1, friend.

Well it's online. Even if you're open to hearing others pov, the statements are made in an attacking fashion.

Also, when you feel that your 'side' or view is the only logical legitimate explanation, and closed minded idealist have institutionally backed you - you naturally develop vanity/arrogance and lead your debate post with more disses than valid points. You end up being defensive and not even seeing when the other side may have said something that could be valid.

@NoMayo15

dirty, we use all of our brains... meaning we use all the areas everyday, even when we sleep.

We understand the functions of the neurons in our brains.. but that's only 10 percent of our brains - meaning we only understand 10% of how a human brain functions - meaning we don't know the limitations, capabilities, potential functions, Metaphysical implications, or how/ in what way we can use our minds, processes of how a brain works, etc - meaning we really don't know sh1t yet, and it will probably be frighting to some people when we realize half these things.

this is very accurate

we lack control of our sub-concious and sleep concious even though it is proven our brain still has signals firing off in our sleep

while each part of our brain has a different function we seem to lack any real control over alot of things that involve brain function that is assuming our conciousness is even located in our brain
