The OKCupid study features a dating website and profile-to-profile social choice interactions, so people have to make more a commitment. Moreover, a DIFFERENT study using OkCupid's sample found the following:

You are quoting Wikipedia (written by who knows without actual data to support the statement) on dating patterns from 2010, whereas @Biggavel is referencing the actual 2010 data which doesn't say 20% of black men married non-black women in 2010. Using @Biggavel 's data, only 10% of black men married non-black women in 2010 versus 90% marrying black women. If you disagree, you need to prove that @Biggavel 's data is wrong. Everyone else can just do the numbers themselves.

I take everything reported as historical facts with a grain of salt, because there is hardly solid proof for anything.
