How mixed are we talking? Most of their paintings show them as dark skinned, and a lot of them had afros. Plus they all had tropical body plans, melanin tests came back Black, STR DNA tests, etc. The evidence is pretty solid that they were Black, initially. Egypt had a lot of invasions, so of course it eventually became more mixed.
