I would turn it around and say: You can be sure that the person who fears death likely isnt actually 'living' and enjoying their life. If you are actually engaged in the activity of living so completely, and enjoying it... what room is there to be concerned about death... let alone fear it? - :whoo:

Nah, if you fear death, you clearly understand how special life is and cherish it. I say this as a person who almost died of contracting TB/pneumonia and not going to the hospital for 3 months, until i started spitting out buckets of blood. nothing like laying on a hospital bed while contemplating you won't make it. :bryan:

I see what your saying. Although acknowledging 'death' and the fact that life as you know it, could come to an end at any given moment..(i'm assuming this is what happend in your experience) and so, making the decision to Cherish and Embrace life as special is quite different than merely fearing death.

i feared death and cherished life before that incident. That just amplified it. I'm a pretty happy person breh. i got mortality to thank for it. :jawalrus:

Like i mentioned in a previous post here, what do we mean by fearing death? How can we fear what we honestly dont know? Anyway, you and i may have different understandings of what 'fearing death' is and truly cherishing and actually 'living life' is.

:troll: But cool. So long as your happy, keep on keeping on Sir.

Japan, but from the 989
Death comes for us all. It is natural to be afraid of it. Everything you know in your life will come to an end. It's a terrifying idea if you really think about it. What is next? The unknown is what keeps people terrified. What happens when I die? Accept that you are going to die one day just like everyone else on this planet. Live and leave something behind that can help the next generation. So to answer your question. Yes, I'm afraid to die. But I accept that it will happen one day and there is nothing I can do to prevent it. So I live for the day and tomorrow, making sure my kid is taken care off and I don't leave shame or poverty for him when I go.
