Nah. If I remember correctly, Valero was already involved in a lot of shady shyt and the authorities in his country looked past it because he was on the come up.
I'd need to look it up again, but I remember something about having an abusive history with his wife for months, as well as having numerous drug abuse problems. He should've been in prison, but they loved him out there.
I always feel bad watching his fight against Demarco because they show his wife briefly. She was gorgeous, absolute shame she had to meet Valero.
