Tired of all this Celts going to trade all these assets for Jimmy Butler talk. What the fukk was the point of drafting Jaylen if you trading multiple 1st rounders for Jimmy?
Also, I know Boston fans (myself NOT included) fell in love with IT but what he did this year is not sustainable. We really thinking of signing IT to a max contract?
I don't hate the trade of the #1 pick, even though I wanted Fultz on my C's im fine moving down 2 spots and getting more 1st round picks next year. We could have 2 of the top 3 picks next year, which would be nuts.
At 3 I would rather Lonzo over Jackson, or even Tatum even though I know that is early for him. This is only cause we have Jaylen. JJ is nice, but redundant. How do you play him and Brown?
I DO NOT have any interest in trading any of these pics for PG/Jimmy Butler. fukk all that noise. Neither make us contenders today, so lets use these picks and build for tomorrow.
People want to say all kinds of shyt about Boston, which is whatever, but one thing you can say is the fans will support this team if they are 20-62 or 62-20. I would rather watch a young core come up together and have a few down seasons than to have a carousel of rental FA come in and out who never take us to the ship as long as GS, SA, CLE, etc are still tops in the league.
