Not copping pleas at all. I always have all major consoles so I won't be missing anything either way. In all reality, like usual, the two consoles will be damn near exactly the same to the average person. I think that everyone knows this but just so we have something to argue about, we pick a console and stick with it

I don't get this reply. So you don't agree that the SNES & PS2 (arguably the two GOAT systems) were the best of their generation? Or that there were more powerful systems? Genesis vs SNES is debatable, but both the Xbox and GameCube were more powerful than the PS2.

PS2 was definitely the best of its gen. I didn't mean to highlight it. Though I with the SNES it comes to personal preference for that gen.

They set the expectations too high. So high to the point where the big 3 are losing money per unit sold just cause they want the latest graphics and bigger hard drive. Consoles never this expensive until this gen. Cats were shelling out 400-600+ to buy the damn thing, buying $60+ per game and more $$$ for DLC, and still buying sequels every damn year. shyt like that bankrupted a lot of 3rd party companies this gen.

I think it's going to be up to the devs. Look at the Last of US.

These graphics are inimitable. The most impressive 360 game graphically is a few notches below this.

Snes and PS two were more powerful than its respective generations competitors.

If the specs are close then it will be the 1st party developers that will(IMO) determine the race as this generarions console king.
