I loved Nordberg but OJ practically admitted he killed his wife and her boyfriend not to mention even if OJ was actually still a beloved public figure what would be the point to have him there without Leslie Nielsen

I love the idea of rebooting this franchise, but this Ed guy
I'd rather have whats his face from The Office do it, his style of comedy most closely resembles leslie neilsens to me

It can happen. Woody Allen married his step daughter, Roman Polanski raped a underage girl, Mike Tyson is a convicted rapist, Snoop was on trial for capital murder once upon a time. All OJ needs is a cameo type role like Tyson had in "The Hangover"

Did Woody ever really recover from that? he's made films since then but they are never promoted. Roman Polanski is forced to live in France. Nobody really believes Tyson raped that woman and Snoop is a rapper thats almost a resume enhancement in hip hop.

Woody still gets A-list talent for his movies and gets Oscar nominations, same for Roman Polanski. Not talking about black people who think Mike was innocent but i think the type of people who you say won't finance this movie think Tyson did it and still do but don't care and they realized the 18-49 "white" crowd don't care about Mike's or Snoops past troubles either, they think they are cool. I think OJ would get that same type of reaction. This new generation don't remember the Bronco or the murder trial...

1st off, OJ is still in Jail so he's not an option.
Do you know why he's in jail? Cuz white people haven't and will never forgive him
I'm not sure if you know all the particulars to his current case, but OJ was set-up.
The people who had the guns drawn, ended up being the star witnesses against OJ

The nikkaz with the guns get off, OJ stuck in jail for an undisclosed amount of time. Nobody knows exactly when he's getting out. Never heard of "OJ will be released in 2017"
Maybe they have a date now? I don't know, I know he JUST LOST an appeal like a week or two ago.

Anyway, Helms just seems like a bad choice to me. Helms is like kind of funny at best and just isn't a very good actor at all. I think what made Leslie so perfect in the original Naked Gun was that he was actually a very good serious actor.
