Actually, studies find that kids raised in single mom by choice households tend to have the same outcomes as two parent households due to the fact that these mothers usually have more resources - money and help. There aren’t a lot of studies on SMBC’s due to how small of a population it is, but every study has pretty much proven the outcomes are better than your typical single mom by chance household.
