I'm with you man, I miss that shyt, I wish I wasn't so nostalgic sometimes, I find myself obsessively tracking down top 100 hits of 1998 or something, trying to discover some hidden gem of my childhood. I got a thread too, I'll write up soon, for all the mid/late twenties people on here. I turn 27 at the end of the month, getting old.

I'll never forget those summers man, 2000, Shyne 'Bad Boyz', Black Rob, "Dom Espacio', a bunch of tracks I'm forgetting, leading up to 2001, Jada, Beanie Sigel, and then Jay. 'The Reason' was a classic to me, no one had the lyrics and the heartfelt shyt like Sig, at the time. A lil 15 year old walking around with a discman and headphones, it's just crazy the way time goes by. I'd love to be that kid again sometimes. I remember walking to my first day of high school, listening to my maxi cd single of the Shyne/Total remix.

And 2002, man 'Come Home With Me' was so hot that summer, I listened to that shyt everyday. Then the Dip Set tapes after that. The Nas disses. When that 'Hate Me Now' came about, Sohh went crazy. 'Lord Willin', man, damn.

Most people be on that "90s era" bandwagon...

I love the 90s but, I grew up on early 00s music. DipSet, G Unit, State Prop, early Kanye, early Game, Luda, Fab, Ja Rule, Jay, Nas, Eminem, Nelly, D Block. It might have been a real flossy commercial era but, the music was :wow:
