I wasn't ballin like that :mjcry:

I was 13 back in 2001.... I couldn't afford no Evisu or Girbauds.... but them $20 Vibes held me down

I always wanted one of them heavy ass Avirex jackets dudes would rock all year, even in 103 degree summer heat:wow:

Though you wouldn't catch me dead in them sus G-Unit tank tops:dame:

I had vibes jean shorts back on 01 ..:pachaha:

that switch up was fast though

i start seeing it in '06
but by '07/'08 the whole rockstar/skater look was in full effect

can't lie though that was underrated time in urban fashion

Look at rap videos from 04/05 and then check out the ones from 07. That switch up was lightning fast and I had to make the gut-wretching choice of giving away almost all of the 8k worth of baggy clothes I bought from my summer job money. :mjcry:

Lupe Fiasco definitely needs a mention for ushering in the skateboard culture.

True, and it all happened at the same time. :mindblown: . I guess people were tired of the standard baggy clothes that was popular since the early 90s and wanted change.

Got my Dr J throwback just in case throwbacks come back in style :blessed:

I remember Snapbacks made a comeback a while ago but it seems that's leveled off a bit and hats like these coming into play
