One time My mom bought me a plain old jersey from walmart with no teams on it or nothing,

So I took one of those SLAM Magazines off the shelf and cut out the NBA Logo and a Dallas Mavs logo (since the shirt was blue) and glued that MFer on the jersey:mjgrin::dead:

I also glued a few other team logos on my blue jeans:mjlol:

I was flossing for a hot minuet :lawd::wow:

Had the girls like :whoo:

I gotta log out this post is pure gold :deadmanny::pachaha:

Yeah when FUBU was actually poppin it wasn't considered dusty. Then it fell off and they started selling the gear at department stores for cheap. I guess that's why some confuse it with, they are talking about two different time periods.

by the time i got to hs in 2000 no one in nyc that was fly was rocking fubu

fubu fell off when i was in the 7th grade.

Nah bruh that was the dumbest shyt ever nikkas wasting thousands (sometimes hundred thousands) on jewelry that was gone make them a target to get robbed or shyt that would be played out in a few years. A lot them rappers was fronting like they owned the shyt they was wearing in the videos but they got it on a loan. Making the jewelers rich while dumb ass rappers frontin' in they songs and going broke at the same time. That bling-bling era was the start of the decline in hip-hop imo.

THIS!

clothingwise, the 2000s was prime fukkery, niccas was lost in the wilderness :wow:

YEah, the ;ate 90s and early 00s was when I thought baggy clothes were going to be in forever. I got caught up in that and spent over 8k on baggy clothes and sneakers, which I thought that it would last forever. When I graduated from HS and went away, I found out that once you 18 and over, that baggy clothes was worthless. What also didnt help was when I went to college, Kanye West blew up, so all the young brehs were on that Polo fitted wave. I learnt my lesson there, and knew that whatever I buy, I had to think in the long term.

But early 00s was stagnation and ignorance on fire.

Yea the dips made nikkas step they shyt up.

When Ballin dropped, cats who were hardcore east coast baggy clothing rocking heads, started to switch up their wardrobe entirely. :dead:

that was just surreal to see dudes rocking baggy clothes for 10+ years, all of a sudden dressing up like Rock stars and screaming that they got "swag"
