Another boring, unimaginative OF album with questionable beats. I honestly don't see how peeps think the beats were killing it, the best ones were DECENT at best.
I gotta give earl props, he was spitting through out the album. Thats not to say he killed it though. HE has a dull repetitive flow, some of the tracks HE WAS just ramble rapping for rapping sake. Intro was terrible, dude was talmbout doin molly straight of the back then the most influential member of OF, Frank negates it 2 tracks later (which I thought was good fukk that shyt). But I digress...
But back to earl spitting, kid def did that. it just wasn't all that interesting nor enjoyable. Definitely nothing I will be quoting anytime soon. But it was interesting to here about how tyler is like a big brother to him and a bit of his background. But yall nikkas comparing him to DOOM now tho? blasphemy.
Back to the beats. The chad hugo joint was so disappointing, incredibly repetitive beat. The nep joint was good tho, same with the samyiam joint. Earls production is soooooo redundant and remedial. nikkas gonna be all like "'523' was so deep I could feel him putting it together." I could literally sense how forced that beat is down to the accidental beat hits the kid added, I can see him in the studio hitting them beat pads probably off the dome thinkin shyt gonna be dope, not remembering the cadences. A song like '523' needs uniformity, the finished product sounds like it's still in the brain storming stage.
RZA hit him with the repetitative throwaway beat, and tyler's shyt is always terrible, tho "whoa" is one of his better joints cause it seems he took his time to make this one.
overall album is very MEH, extremely low replay value and I don't think I'll even ever think about this album again.
