This game must have some sort of programmatic shifts in CPU difficulty.

It seems just about every game that I play is a tale of two halves.

First half I’m dominating…running the ball well, crisp ass passing plays and catches. Forcing QB to scramble, forcing many turnovers…and outscoring the CPU opponent like 21-3. :leon:

Second half comes and BAM! Exact fukking opposite. Running plays averaging 2 yards, my receivers are dropping balls left and right (if they can get open), QB getting rushed/sacked and shyt. Meanwhile my CPU opponent is moving the ball down the field like a MACHINE. And I end up getting outscored like 28-3. :dwillhuh:

Am I just trash at this game or are there big ass sweeps in difficulty per half for yall too?

It's easy to beat the CPU on Heisman.

All you need to do is have a fast wide receiver with 98 or 99 on speed and just throw deep go routes.


I did that one season and broke all types of records on heisman.

Part of why I gave it up. I'd have an entire O-line with the lowest being an 87 going against a team with a DL with nobody over 80. All of a sudden after controlling the game running the ball, my entire offensive line is getting blown up every play.

I play on Varsity in MAC conference.

We don’t have stacked players like that in our conference. :francis:

This game is the perfect example of presentation being so important. I have both this game and Madden 25 but I play this more, and that's because the college atmosphere makes it way more fun to play. It does suck having to increase the pass/run blocking sliders though, the devs should've fixed those issues by now.
They had the run game perfectly tuned when the game first dropped but they nerfed it like dikkhead goofs :hhh:

As you said the ratings don't even matter. My last game I had a 79 OVR QB with 86 THP go 15 for 18 and hit a 90 yard pass that traveled 50+ yards in the air. Nothing worked, zone or man unless the blitz hit home.

Every game vs computer QBs is like this outside of a few differences in how they play due to tendencies. I still won but not enjoyable at all.

CPU is running a ratings scam every play, but will typically lose because they don't understand football or adjust to anything. Just negate ratings to force outcomes.

The only way I've found to counter this is to choose a dummy play on the play select screen and then audible twice pre snap. Audible once and the CPU will counter to the perfect play, but audible twice and they won't change their play again. Been doing this for years with solid success

Facts smh. I really hope they lose the exclusive license in Madden so they'll be forced to really innovate in both games
