personally I'd prefer it if modern humans could settle their differences with words. other than that, I would have to look at case by case, as far as the goal, intended target, risks, etc

I'm assuming when western imperialism ends.... but I'm not 100% sure on that.

The only thing that will end "western imperialism" is another imperialism, kinda like western imperialism ended islamic imperialism hundreds of years ago

I agree, that doesn't make any any sense.

But I think an important point is does it really even matter when you have thousands of innocent people dead over wars that are seemingly pointless and counterproductive?

I don't think when people look at those horrific images of Boston with people legless with bones sticking out and pools of blood everywhere, they really make the human connection in regard to this happening when we bomb people in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Yemen, and it happens in exponentially higher numbers.

We go around bombing any and everything....innocent children, warehouses where ppl work, peoples homes.....and it's never discussed on American TV b/c the truth is ugly.

The USA has treated other countries like sh*t for decades. And that's why the rest of the world hates us....not because of lame excuses like "they hate our freedoms" or other silly political answers.

It's not about Islam having a moral high ground ... it's about overzealous imperialism... It tends to create terror and violent push back. And I'm not sure if the Islamic occupation over the barbaric Europeans was the same as what's going on now.... maybe it was. I just know that actual nations and cultures were competing back then and Islam was just successful due to superior culture and technology. Today the motivation is purely greed, Zionism, and resources. This lead to the US and other attacking and killing masses when really a small few are the supposed target. The West wouldn't need Islamic imperialism to end those things...
