That's rather disingenuous because it intentionally overlooks the cap spike (that the players themselves caused) that allowed them to even have the cap space to sign them in the first place.

If the players agreed to have the cap smoothed over instead of that one year cap spike, KD to GS never happens.

I agree it’s good from an organizational standpoint but something just never sat right with me when KD joined them. I always looked at his championships kinda sideways. People will say the warriors was a dynasty but not the bad boy pistons.
