The coli dot com

JR Smith averaged 8 points on 34 percent shooting and launched 7 three's a game shooting at 35 percent in 30mpg

Dwayne Wade averaged 18 points in 30 mpg
Shooting 43 percent from the floor, getting to the line 5 times, almost two steals a game, almost 5 rebounds, almost 4 assists

But because jr Smith shoots from 3 four percent more

That's a massive ass upgrade.
JR Smith last year: 8 ppg on 34% shooting

D-Wade last year: 18 ppg on 43% shooting

The Coli: :mjlol: Wade is :flabbynsick: Cavs downgraded :umad:

You obviously didn't watch too many Bulls games last season. As inconsistent as JR is on defense (I've mentioned this at least three times in this thread), he's still better than Wade at this point in their respective careers. You say that JR is undisciplined; giving away silly fouls while running through screens or fouling shooters - well at least he's trying to defend. Wade doesn't even bother to chase players around screens regularly, Wade doesn't even bother to contest shots regularly, Wade doesn't even bother to close out regularly. Wade doesn't even bother to get back in transition situations regularly, Wade doesn't even bother to help on PnR regularly.

There are many things that Wade doesn't and can't do on defense anymore, whereas at least JR tries to do those things and at times has success at doing them. The odd steal or block that Wade gets doesn't make up for his inactivity on the defensive end.

How did I know you'd post clips from that Celtics series? He didn't give a fukk last season.

An engaged Wade with less of an offensive burden is a better defensive player than J.R. Smith.

On one hand, this Cavs team looks STACKED. Bron, love, wade, IT, Rose, JR, Crowder, TT, etc.

On the other hand
-Rose hasn't been dominate in 4 years
-Wade is nearing larry holmes garden status
-IT is injured more than we know
-Bron defense is slowing down dramatically
-RJ is 50 years old
-Shump is trash now

Guess we'll have to see

You do realize he got bought out by the Bulls right? :usure:

The Warriors reportedly contacted Dwyane Wade about the possibility of signing in Golden State after Wade reached a buyout with the Bulls.

According to Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype, the Warriors could only offer limited playing time, which didn’t appeal to Wade.

He’s expected to sign with the Cavaliers on Wednesday.

The Golden State Warriors were one of the teams to reach out to Dwyane Wade's camp, although talks didn't get far: https://t.co/f7DuMkzCiX

Interestingly, the Warriors placed a call of their own to Wade’s camp to express interest in his services, a source told HoopsHype. The talks were brief because it was unclear what role Wade would play with Golden State.

Throughout his decision-making process, Wade made it clear to interested teams that he wants to play significant minutes on a contender. The Warriors weren’t clear about his playing time, so both parties moved on.

Golden State, which has 15 guaranteed players under contract, had to know landing Wade was unlikely, but they did their due diligence. If Wade surprised them and signed, they would’ve added a future Hall of Famer to an already loaded roster and – perhaps more importantly – kept him away from their rival Cavs.

Wade is a legend and a top 3 SG of all time. But man when he has to chase Klay around all those screens..:russ:
Should of ignored his loyalty to Lebron and went to the Bay. More space, less likelyhood for injury since he'd be coming off the bench and rested, along with more playmaking considering who he is playing with. Only 2.3 million the warriors could have squeezed him in

So basically you have one shooter, and no defenders with a Rose, Wade and Korver lineup. Doesn't really push the Cavs in the direction they need to go in now does it? If I.T. comes back healthy, they'll most probably need to phase Rose or Wade out of the rotation. No point having two guards on the bench who can't shoot or defend - Shumpert's bordering on being one of those too.

I thought korver went to philly for like 1 year 20m?
