RicBucher: Agent: Wherever Dwight Howard lands, he'll be an UFA next summer. Doesn't mean he won't re-sign, just no promises. Agent -- Dwight Howard won't sign extension with any team, will explore free agency - ESPN

RicBucher: And before you start killing DH/his agent (some of you already have), it's the only sensible stance. It's what Deron did.

That's not news to anybody who has any damn sense. Dwight nor Bynum were ever going to sign extensions with ANY team. Expecting them to do so is fukking absurd. What young player is going to agree to giving up THAT kind of money?

What's in favor of the teams is that the likelihood of them leaving as free agents and getting nothing in return is slim since whatever team trades for them would have their bird rights, so it's in the players interest to help make a sign and trade happen.

I don't know why Laker fans let Dwight do this to them. nikkas was gassed in this thread. Chests was all puffed out. Noses to the sky. Eyes all filled with hope.

And for what? After all that, he's probably not coming. At least for no longer than a year or you have to wait until next year when he will undoubtedly flip-flip by the hour about which team he'll sign with.

Dwight's proven over and over that he can't be trusted. Or, excuse me, his sources can't be trusted.

Speaking of sources, I believe Chris Broussard broke the report that Dwight would be willing to sign an extension with LA--based on "his sources." :comeon: Any breaking news attached to Chris Broussard's name, or even Ric Bucher's name for that matter, should be met with immediate skepticism and an automatic red flag.

If this trade doesn't go down soon, I'ma enjoy going back through this thread to see how quickly nikkas can lose all sense of perspective and humility, and think they're the biggest, baddest nikkas on google Earth. :mjpls:

This is exactly why I ain't sayin shyt. That fukkface faggit stern truly offended me when he try to play with peoples intelligence sayin a trade couldn't be made for basketball reasons. Lets speak up when Dwight is holding up a Laker jersey.

Nevertheless, GOAT franchise in all professional sports > all.

Like nikkaz is gon be scared of washed wade and feminine ass bosh. You better pray to Kobe that Mitch chill wit this offseason vengeance. :childplease:

:laff: "washed wade" on one leg avg more than anybody on your team not named bean :umad:

bosh avg damn near what bynum and gasol avg :umad:

and Bron we aint even gotta say it :umad:

@JRudolphSports
As for the Dwight Howard stuff that was said while I was in the theater (sigh) ... There is NO flip-flopping. He wants to be a Laker.

@JRudolphSports
Dwight will re-sign at the end of the 2012-13 season, as I reported and repeated on the radio. Extending and re-signing aren't the same.

@JRudolphSports
If the Magic-Lakers talks fall apart it's due to the Magic unwillingness to pull the trigger on yet another deal. Nothing more to report.

Like I said, that Ric Bucher "report" was a non story. He just put that shyt out there to generate page hits for his bullshyt article.

naw hes gonna sign with whoever trades for him

i just cant see him walking away from a 5 year 108 mill deal

the team will have all the leverage,all they gotta do is refuse to sign & trade him

i doubt he will just sign somewhere else for less money
